CP-Hyderabad Mandated Rowdy Sheeter To Execute Peace Bonds 

Hyderabad, Feb 6 (Maxim News): In a stern move to curb criminal activities, the Hyderabad Police have invoked a legal recourse against five notorious “rowdy sheeters,” individuals with documented criminal activities. Acting under Section 107 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cr.P.C.), Police Commissioner Kothakota Srinivas Reddy mandated these individuals to execute peace bonds.

Executed on February 5th, 2024, the order requires each rowdy sheeter to furnish a security bond of Rs. 50,000, backed by two sureties, guaranteeing their peaceful and lawful conduct for a year. This action comes amid concerns about potential criminal activities, with some of the named individuals reportedly involved in serious offenses, including murders, within the city limits.

The five individuals identified by the police are Syed Majeed, Mohd. Neymutulla, Mirza Haroon Baig, Syed Aijaz, and Syed Sajeed. All have complied with the Commissioner’s orders, executing the necessary bonds with the required sureties.

This move by the Hyderabad Police sends a clear message to potential troublemakers within the city. The utilization of peace bonds signifies a proactive approach to maintaining public safety and deterring criminal activities.
