The Manjeera River and its surrounding water bodies are known habitats for mugger crocodiles. Receding water levels can cause the reptiles to move into nearby agricultural fields and other water bodies.

Residents and farmers should keep their distance from the crocodile and avoid attempting to capture or approach it. They should inform Forest Department officials if they spot the reptile or any other wildlife near farms or residential areas.

The rescue operation is expected to proceed after the specialist team arrives from Sangareddy.
