Hyderabad, March 6 (Maxim News): Cyberabad Police fed total number of 22875 needy people at its 29 food distribution points including Attapur, Nanakramguda, Kondapur slum, Narsingi, Gopannapalli Thanda, Kokapet GAR, Kothaguda and Lingampally. It said that the initiative was taken up following a call of the state government. It also said that with an objective to show compassion to the voiceless in this crucial time, about 150 stray & hungry animals were also fed at a few points by the volunteers appointed by it.
In a statement, Cyberabad Traffic DCP SM.Vijay Kumar has said that Covid-19 service had been started by them on the very first day of the imposition of the lockdown in the city and added that they had been serving the people since the the past 15 days in association with SCSC volunteers.(Maxim News)
