Hyderabad: A major Hyderabad fire broke out after multiple cylinder explosions at a gas refilling center in Kukatpally on Tuesday, January 13, triggering panic in nearby residential areas.

The incident occurred at a gas refilling center in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, which falls under the limits of the Kukatpally Police Station. Reports stated that several gas cylinders exploded one after another, leading to a massive blaze at the site. Thick flames and smoke were seen rising from the area, causing fear among residents living close to the refilling center.

According to available information, panic spread quickly in the surrounding localities after the explosions. People rushed out of their houses as the fire intensified. Meanwhile, as a safety step, authorities evacuated residents from houses located near the gas refilling center. This move aimed to prevent injuries and avoid further risk as the fire continued to burn. Officials maintained caution until the situation came fully under control. Later, fire crews managed to douse the blaze, bringing relief to local residents.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident. Officials confirmed that there were no deaths or injuries linked to the Hyderabad fire. This information eased concerns, especially given the scale of the explosions and the intensity of the flames. However, the incident once again highlighted safety concerns linked to gas refilling operations in densely populated areas.

The Hyderabad fire at Kukatpally caused temporary fear and disruption in the locality. However, swift action by the fire department helped prevent a larger tragedy.
