Hyderabad, Sept 15 (Maxim News): The attack on BRS Working President KTR PRO Mahesh and PA Mahender Reddy at Saifabad Police Station has sparked a political uproar. BRS leaders have raised concerns that some masked people entered the police station and tried to attack KTR staff. However, Saifabad Police have clarified that no attack took place. They have examined the CCTV cameras at the police station and no incident related to the attack was seen, said Khairatabad Zone DCP Shilpavalli.
Speaking to the media, Khairatabad Zone DCP Shilpavalli said that KTR’s PA and PRO were called to the police station on Monday as part of the investigation into the dispute at the assembly. At the same time, he explained that some local youths had come to the police station in the evening to seek permission for a DJ at Ganesh Mandapam. While they were talking to the Saifabad CI regarding the DJ permission, one of them recognized KTR’s PRO Mahesh.
The DCP said that the youth got into an argument with the police, asking them to sit down and talk politely to those who had created a nuisance at the assembly. The youth left the police station after the CI asked them not to talk like that, he explained. DCP Shilpavalli said that the CCTV cameras were examined to see what happened at the police station. KTR PRO Mahesh and PA Mahender Reddy clarified that no attack was made on them.
