Decision on The Prime Ministerial Candidate After The Polls: Rahul

Delhi/Hyderabad, April 5 (Maxim News) : Senior congress leader Rahul Gandhi has said that after the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition alliance will decide who will be the prime Minister of India.

At present they are fighting ideologically.  It was revealed that the latest battle is between those who destroy the Constitution and democracy and the forces that protect them.  Rahul answered the questions asked by reporters during the release of the Congress Manifesto.

“It should be recalled that even before the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP-led NDA government had campaigned that India is on fire. Then the saffron party was defeated and the Congress took power.

They are campaigning outside saying that these elections are one-sided.  But, there is a fierce competition between the two.  The ‘India’ coalition of oppositions is fighting an ideological battle.

If this alliance is successful. We will take a decision on who will be the Prime Minister from ‘India” only after the elections, said Rahul Gandhi.

Congress announced the election manifesto named ‘Nyaypatra’.  It has been designed on the principles of job creation, wealth creation and welfare. 

Especially under the Mahalakshmi scheme, the Congress has included in its manifesto promises such a financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh per year for poor women, 50 percent quota for women in government jobs, cancellation of Agneepath scheme, statehood for Jammu and Kashmir, Right to Apprentice Act, Education loans, cancellation of examination fees for government jobs.
