The death toll from the powerful blast near Delhi’s Red Fort metro station has risen to 12 following the demise of three more injured victims, police confirmed on Tuesday. The explosion occurred on Monday evening when a slow-moving car stopped at a traffic signal near the landmark. Originally, officials had confirmed nine deaths and 20 injuries.

Delhi Police have responded swiftly by registering a First Information Report (FIR) under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Explosives Act in connection with the tragic incident. The police are conducting raids at various locations across the city as part of their ongoing investigations.
