- Auto Drivers’ Union Offers Free Rides to Vulnerable Voters
In a positive move to encourage greater participation in the Jubilee Hills by-election, several citizens and organizations have come forward to support voters during Tuesday’s polling. Notably, renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli exercised his franchise early in the day, motivating many others to vote.
Adding to the momentum, the Auto Drivers’ Union launched a special service to assist voters in reaching their polling stations. Around 150 auto-rickshaws have been deployed specifically to provide free rides for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and new mothers. This initiative aims to ensure that vulnerable groups face no barriers in casting their votes.

Union representatives emphasized that the free ride program is designed to promote increased voter turnout in the constituency. They hope that making transportation accessible will encourage more citizens to participate in the democratic process smoothly and comfortably.
Such efforts reflect the community’s commitment to facilitating democracy and fostering civic engagement during this important election. The Jubilee Hills bypoll continues to attract attention with active voting and strong support from local groups and public figures alike.
