Delhi Liquor Scam Case: CBI Court Conducting Hearing On Bail Petition

Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 20 (Maxim News): The CBI special court is conducting a hearing on the bail petition of Abhishek Boinapalli, Vijay Nair, and Sarath Chandra Reddy who are accused in the Delhi Liquor scam case.

The ED officials produced Abhishek and Vijay Nair through video conference and Sarath Chandra Reddy was produced before the judge in the court hall. Both sides are currently arguing. Later, the judge will pronounce the verdict on the bail petition.

Sarath Chandra Reddy was arrested by the ED on November 10 last year in connection with money laundering in the liquor scam. Binoy Babu was arrested along with him, they are presently in Tihar Jail.

Sarath Chandra Reddy, Abhishek Boinapalli, Vijay Nair, and Binoy Babu are key in south Group transactions. In connection with this case, the ED filed a supplementary charge sheet against Sarath Chandra Reddy and others on January 6. ED has included the evidence in the supplementary charge sheet regarding transactions of Rs. 100 crores from the South Group. (Maxim News)
