Deputy CM Bhatti To Meet Grieving IPS Officer’s Puran Kumar Family Amid Outrage Over Discrimination

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka is heading to Chandigarh this evening to meet the grieving family of senior IPS officer Puran Kumar. Kumar, originally from Hyderabad, died by suicide at his Chandigarh residence, leaving the nation shocked and saddened.

The incident has caused widespread outrage due to serious allegations made by Puran Kumar in his final note. The officer named multiple senior officials, including the DGP and several other top IPS and IAS officers, accusing them of caste-based discrimination, public humiliation, and prolonged harassment.
