Hyderabad, October 20: The DGP B. Shivadhar Reddy, announced a comprehensive relief package for the family of Constable Pramod in Hyderabad. He confirmed that the family will receive an ex-gratia payment of Rs 1 crore. This announcement highlights the department’s commitment to supporting the kin of personnel who serve with dedication.
He stated that, in addition to the compensation, Pramod’s family will continue to receive his last-drawn salary until the date of his superannuation. The DGP also announced that one eligible member of the family will be given a government job, along with a 300 square yard house site. These measures, he said, aim to ensure financial stability and long-term security for the bereaved family.
According to B. Shivadhar Reddy, the relief package is designed to provide both immediate financial assistance and sustainable support through employment and housing. He underlined that the plan includes salary continuity, compassionate appointment, and housing benefits, forming a balanced support system for the family.
He further assured that the police department stands firmly with Constable Pramod’s family in this difficult time. The department, he said, will expedite all formal procedures to ensure quick disbursal of the benefits. Meanwhile, the assurance of a government job for one family member will help stabilize their livelihood. The allocation of a house site is also intended to help them secure permanent shelter.
