The minister received the preliminary forensic audit report on Saturday. He said the report revealed several cases of corruption and irregularities. Therefore, after examining the findings, the government decided to conduct a similar audit across all 31 districts. He warned that those involved in irregularities would not be spared. He also said the fate of people who grabbed lands would be exposed.

Meanwhile, Ponguleti said irregularities in registrations occurred due to technical errors in the Dharani portal introduced by the previous government. He made these remarks while meeting the high level committee formed to investigate the land registration scam that recently came to light in Jangaon. Officials explained that Rs 4 crore was not paid to the government in relation to 1,109 documents. So far, 35 lakh transactions have been examined.
