Dharmapuri Municipal Commissioner Nabbed While Accepting Rs. 20,000 Bribe 

Jagtial/Hyderabad, March 7 (Maxim News): The Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday caught Dharmapuri Municipal Commissioner Kandula Srinivas while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from an outsourced employee.

According to the ACB, the complainant, Paidipalli Mahesh, was working in the Urban Environment Engineering Department on an outsourcing basis

Mahesh, who used to get his salary regularly earlier, has not been paid for the last six monthsThe Commissioner, Srinivas, allegedly demanded Rs. 30,000 as a bribe to release his salary. Mahesh, who had already paid Srinivas Rs. 10,000 for the same issue, approached the ACB, who nabbed Srinivas while accepting Rs. 20,000 (Maxim News)
