Dhum Dham Dussehra: Liquor Sales Increased By 25% In Five Days

Hyderabad, Oct 12 (Maxim News): Dussehra festival is going on in the state this time in a frenzy. Liquor Sales have increased by 25 percent in the last five days compared to normal days.

Compared to last year’s Dussehra, Sales of liquor have increased by 15 percent in these five days and an average of Rs. 124 crores of liquor is being sold in the state every day. On the 10th of this month, liquor worth Rs. 139 crores was moved from depots to Wine shops at a record power level.

It is noteworthy that 2.35 lakh cases of beer reached the wine shops on the same day. Excise sources say that the sale of beer at this level is a record in a year, but in fact, average liquor sales worth Rs. 100 crores are done per day. Liquor is sold in up to one lakh cases.  But, on the occasion of Dussehra, the sale of liquor increased.  (Maxim News)
