Kadapa, Sept. 29: The Dalmia Bharat Foundation (DBF), the CSR arm of Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, felicitated 57 trainees at a valedictory ceremony at its DIKSHa Centre in Kadapa on September 28, 2026.
The trainees included 27 students who completed the General Duty Assistant (GDA) programme and 30 who completed the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) course. Distinguished guests and senior officials presented certificates to the graduates.
DIKSHa Kadapa Supports Youth Skill Development
The DIKSHa Centre has trained more than 624 young people since its establishment. Of these, 444 have secured jobs in healthcare institutions, retail and service sector organisations.
The centre, established in June 2023, provides vocational training in three areas: CRM in IT-enabled services, GDA in healthcare and Assistant Electrician (AE) in construction.
It operates in accordance with the guidelines of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC). The centre accommodates 30 trainees per batch.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dalmia Cement Unit Head in Kadapa Arpan Dilipkumar Parekh said the foundation aims to equip young people with practical, industry-aligned skills.
He said DIKSHa helps trainees access career opportunities and achieve greater economic independence. He also reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to connecting skill development with employment.
The event was attended by Surendra Natha Reddy, Principal of Polytechnic College; Voleti Ram Kishan, Head of Mechanical; Somula Gopala Reddy, Head of HR; Suresh Reddy, Head of Mines; and Vara Prasaad, Corporate Affairs representative.
The programme celebrated the trainees’ achievements and highlighted the centre’s role in developing employment opportunities for rural youth.
