Discount On Pending Challans: Motorists Can Pay Through THESE Two Ways

Hyderabad, Dec 23 (Maxim News): Telangana government has announced another good news for motorists. Police department has given a green signal to give a huge discount on pending challans, this discount is more than the previous one. Pending challans can be paid with discount through MeeSeva or through Online from December 26.

The state police department has given the opportunity to make challan payment at the rate, 90 percent discount for TSRTC drivers and pushcarts, 80 percent discount for two wheeler challans, 60 percent discount for four-wheelers and autos have been announced, 50 percent discount was given for lorries and other heavy vehicles.

It may be recalled that in the year 2022, when the discount was given Rs. 300 crore challans were collected across Telangana. The challans generated after that were not properly collected. At present, more than 2 crore challans are pending across the state. It seems that the police department has taken this decision due to the huge increase in challans.  (Maxim News)
