Dispute between CM KCR and Etela lead to Huzurabad by-elections: VH

Hyderabad, Oct.22 (Maxim News): Veteran Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao today claimed that a dispute between the Chief Minister of the state KCR and former Minister Etela Rajender led to the by-elections in Huzurabad Assembly constituency.

Speaking to media persons in Huzurabad, VH asked Etela as to why he joined rival BJP while stating that Etela had good name before joining the saffron party. He opined that Etela should have contested the elections as an independent candidate. He wondered as to how the voters of Huzurabad would vote for Etela, who joined the BJP , which is destroying the country.

Making it clear that the congress party is not responsible for the halting of Dalitha Bandhu scheme, he mocked that rivals TRS and BJP were blaming each other on the issue. Stating that some communities of the state are still languishing in poverty , VH denned the state government to extend the benefits of the dalitha bandhu scheme to those communities too.

He said that CM KCR did not have any commitment about the welfare of the daliths of the state and reminded that the CM had cheated the daliths by not fulfilling his promises of three acres agriculture land to the landless daliths and CM post to a Dalit leader. Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he alleged that Modi had cheated the people of the country by retracting from his promise of crediting ₹15 lakh in their bank accounts after coming into power.
