Distribution and Reception Centers Should Be Prepared With All Facilities: Ronald Rose

Hyderabad, October 19: District Election Officer Ronald Rose has directed the officials to prepare EVMs, Distribution, and Reception Centers (DRC) with all facilities without any hindrance.

On Thursday, District Deputy Electoral Officer, Hyderabad District Collector Anudeep Durishetti, Police Commissioner Sandeep Sandilya, along Additional Police Commissioner Vikram Singh Man inspected the distribution and reception centers to be set up in various constituencies of the city.

On this occasion, the District Election Officer first visited the DRCs related to Mushirabad Assembly Constituency in LB Stadium and proposed setting up the DRC Center of Mushirabad Constituency in AV College. The officials were instructed to visit the DRCs of Chandrayanagutta constituencies to be set up in Nizam College and if there are any repairs, they should be completed soon.

DRC center in Koti Women’s College for Goshamahal constituency, Charminar to be set up in Kamala Nehru Polytechnic College, Yakatpura constituency DRC center to be set up in Sarojini Naidu Vanitha Maha Vidyalayam were inspected. Nampally Constituency DRC is to be set up at JNTU Fine Arts College, Karwan Constituency DRC is to be set up at Government Polytechnic College Masab Tank, Bahadur Pura Constituency DRC center to be set up at Tiksha Vidya Bhawan. Checked.

Later, the election officials and police officials asked the police officials to take strict security measures at the centers where the EVMs are secured to avoid any mistakes. The officials were directed to complete any repairs in the buildings where EVMs are stored and prepare the DRC centers. He asked the Police Commissioner to make a 24-hour deployment of central forces to prevent any untoward incident from happening there.
