Do Not Write Wrong Reports: Power CMD To Media
Hyderabad, May 18 (Maxim News): Transco and Genco CMD D Prabhakar Rao condemned a news item in a Telugu paper for writing wrong information on Ramagundam power project. He informed media that newspaper has carrying out misinformation campaign on government with regard to this power project.
Prabhakar Rao has denied the report that the government is stalling the works of the power project. This is totally false and the government is completing the project in a speedy manner, Rao maintained. The power utilities chief said that the newspaper is envy at the power projects and coming in their way. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has succeeded in his efforts to overcome power problem and supplying 24 hour power to farm and other sectors he said.
However a newspaper is unable to digest its works and projects and resorting to write false information to misguide people. Entire nation is looking at the model of Telangana on power sector as the government gave top priority to it. The power officials are said to have a notice to the newspaper seeking clarification. The government plans to use and supply power at low cost by producing more power. While other states are appreciating Telangana in this regard and the newspaper has written a report with malafide intention he said. The media should not write such report to misguide the people.
