The creation of the Peace Council has also received mixed reactions from US allies. Britain has refused to join the Peace Council amid concerns that Russian President Vladimir Putin would join. Norway and Sweden have also signaled that they will not join. Trump last week threatened to impose a 200 percent tariff on French wine after French President Emmanuel Macron refused to join the council. Russia, on the other hand, has said that it will decide on joining the board after discussions with its partners.(Maxim News)
