Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 16 (Maxim News): While Pakistan claims to maintain friendly relations with India, it is resorting to provocative actions. On Thursday night, two Pakistani drones were spotted along the Line of Control (LOC) in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir, defence sources said. The Indian Army immediately responded to the drones’ movements and launched an anti-drone operation, which resulted in their return. This is the third such incident this week, they said.
The incident comes hours after Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi issued a warning to Pakistan. Security forces are on high alert along the border ahead of Republic Day celebrations. Security has been tightened in the area after drone movements were reported. On Tuesday night, Army personnel opened fire to intercept suspected Pakistani drones that crossed the Line of Control (LOC) in Rajouri district. (Maxim News)
