DXN Co To Invest Rs 250 Crore In TS: Niranjan

Hyderabad, April 16 (Maxim News): Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy said Malaysia-based DSN Company agreed, in principle, to invest about Rs 250 crore in agriculture industry in State.

The minister, who was on foreign tour, said the new industrial policy of the State was getting accolades from across the world. The minister discussed on the new industrial policy and total support being extended by the State government for new industries and the old ones to expand their business. “Our Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was keen on encouraging such companies of international repute to open their shops in Telangana, he said. DXN Company will be set up its second unit in Southern Telangana and will provide employment to over 1,000 to 1,500 persons, the minister said.

Niranjan said the DXN Company was busy setting up its unit in Siddipet and has agreed to set up another at Wanaparty which was near to International Airport in Shamshabad. About Rs 200 crore to Rs 250 crore will be invested for the company to provide jobs and employment to local talent, he said. The company will encourage exports of agri industrial food items and products through food processing units. He also said promotion of food items to international market will boost revenues of those relying on the industry. DXN Founder and chief Lim Sio Jin has agreed to send a team to make a field visit to Wanaparty, he added.(Maxim News)
