Early Polls Will Bring Cong To Power In TS: Jaipal
Delhi Aug. 28 (Maxim News): Former Union Minister and AICC official spokesperson S Jaipal Reddy has said that the Congress party would feel happy if early elections were held. He predicted that the TRS party would face defeat even if gone for early elections. He described that the Congress party would plunge into the election arena as a lion whenever elections were conducted. He alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was going for early elections as the ‘unhappiness’ among the people was increasing against TRS government.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Jaipal Reddy said that the Congress party was a national party and of course there would be discontent in the party but all will unite when the elections were held. Ridiculing Mission Bhagiratha scheme, Jaipal Reddy said that the water didn’t come through Mission Bhagiratha but funds came to the pockets of contractors. He made it clear that the party high command would decide whether who will campaign on behalf of Congress party.
He said that the party Chief Rahul Gandhi’s meetings were succeeded on a grand note and there was a need to know the people of the nook and corner that the Congress was the party accorded separate Telangana state. He said that the KCR would face defeat in the coming elections as he failed to fulfill the assurances made by him.
He alleged that the KCR was daydreaming while sitting in Pragathi Bhavan and said that the people were not happy with the KCR’s rule. He said that he would be very happy if elections were conducted before the scheduled time. He reminded that the KCR too would face the fate of Chandrababu Naidu. Stating that the Congress party was ever ready to face the elections, he exuded confidence that the Congress party would come to power while winning the elections working to the tune of party high command though there were differences among the leaders of the state.
