Earthquake Today Hyderabad: Here Is The Reason You Should Know!

Hyderabad, Dec 4 (Maxim News): In the Telugu States, the people were suddenly panicked due to earthquakes. Today morning in many parts of Hyderabad people ran out of their houses as the ground shook for a few moments. The people of Hyderabad remained in a state of confusion as they did not know what was going on. Apart from Hyderabad, the news of earthquakes in many parts of the state has become the highlight today.

National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) Principal Scientist Dr. Shekhar gave clarity and said that earthquakes have occurred in the Godavari catchment area. He said that the epicenter of this earthquake was found in the Mulugu region. He said that this earthquake occurred at 7.27 am today. Its effect was mostly shown in the Mulugu Bhadrachalam and Kothagudem districts. He said that in the catchment area of Godavari, it was recorded as 5.3 points on the Richter scale, Naturally, when it comes to the river catchment areas, it will have an effect at a distance of about 300 km. That is why the land has been found in many places in Hyderabad, it was revealed.

It started in the Godavari Mulugu area and a slight earthquake occurred in the Krishna River. Also, there are chances of earthquakes again. However, compared to the present, these tremors will be of lesser intensity. In 1969, Bhadrachalam experienced the highest earthquake of 5.7 Richter Scale. He made it clear that accidents do not occur below 6 on the Richter scale and we do not have this threat.  He said that people should not panic. Also, MGRI Principal Scientist Dr. Shekhar said that it is better not to stay in buildings with cracks and old buildings.  (Maxim News)
