Ravinder Reddy met the Chief Minister at his residence recently, submitting a formal memorandum seeking the creation of the EBC Commission. He also called for the formation of an EBC ministry and a dedicated finance corporation to ensure sustained development and welfare initiatives for EBC communities.

Extend Welfare Schemes to Upper Caste Poor

Highlighting the disparities, Ravinder Reddy requested that welfare programs currently benefiting SC, ST, and BC communities be extended to cover the poor among upper castes as well.

In a public statement following the meeting, he shared that the Chief Minister positively responded to the appeal and assured that necessary steps would be taken to establish the EBC Corporation at the earliest.

A Push for Inclusive Development

This demand comes amid growing calls for inclusive welfare policies that leave no economically disadvantaged group behind. The establishment of an EBC Commission could pave the way for focused policies and targeted schemes aimed at uplifting the upper caste poor in Telangana.
