Tragedy In LB Nagar: Two People Burnt Alive While Sleeping

Hyderabad, June 15 (Maxim News): Tragedy in LB Nagar, two people sleeping on the footpath were burnt alive on the spot after the electric wire was severed. The accident occurred when 11KB electric wires were severed.  At that time, live wires fell on two people sleeping near a temple. The locals panicked as the fire broke out.

The police and electricity officials were immediately informed. They immediately breached the spot and took up rescue operations. A stray dog also died. Electricity officials are examining the electrical line in connection with the accident. At that time, the electricity authorities stopped the power supply, and a major accident was averted. Initial information is that the incident occurred when a high-tension current wire broke.

The details of the people lying on the footpath are yet to be ascertained. They have been identified as beggars. The LB Nagar Police have registered a case and are investigating after the bodies of the two were shifted to the Osmania Mortuary for postmortem.  (Maxim News)
