EC, ED, CBI Are Election Toolkits For BJP: Uddhav Shivsena

Mumbai/Hyderabad, Feb 18 (Maxim News): Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena party strongly disagrees with the Central Election Commission’s decision that the original Shiv Sena belongs to Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde’s faction and the bow and arrow symbol of Shiv Sena also belongs to Shinde’s faction. The EC’s statement is said to be anti-democratic said Priyanka Chaturvedi of Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena.

Priyanka Chaturvedi said that the manner followed by the Central Election Commission which is an independent body, in deciding who is the original Shiv Sena party is very surprising and ridiculous. She said that it is ironic that the Election Commission, which is supposed to protect democracy and the rule of law has bowed down to the feet of the Central government. She complained that ECi stands for “Entirely Compromised institution of India”.

She alleged that the ruling BJP at the Center has already made the Election Commission, Enforcement Directorate, and Central bureau of investigation its election toolkits and now its eyes are on the judiciary. Union Law Minister Kiran Rijiju criticized Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar for making comments against the judiciary as part of an attempt. (Maxim News)
