Hyderabad, Mar 30 (Maxim News): The Task Force Police has cracked down on the illegal gas cylinder business in Hyderabad. They have busted a huge gang that was selling commercial gas cylinders in the black market. The police have launched a lightning raid on this shady business, which has been formed into a syndicate and is running it in complete disregard of the rules.
The police have identified Amir, a Metro HP gas dealer from Afzalgunj area, as the mastermind behind the racket. He is illegally selling commercial gas cylinders to hotels and restaurants at a price of over Rs. 6,000 per cylinder. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the gang has been creating artificial shortages in the market for some time and making huge profits.
The task force police, who conducted raids based on solid information, seized about 400 commercial gas cylinders. Each of these cylinders weighs 19 kg. The police have arrested the main mastermind of this racket, dealer Amir, along with 10 others. They have intensified the investigation to see if anyone else is behind them.
According to the details of Hyderabad Task Force DCP Vaibhav Gaikwad Raghunath. We have checked the black gas racket. We have arrested 10 accused and seized 414 gas cylinders. Mohammed Amir is running a gas warehouse in Shamshabad and a gas agency in Afzal Gunj. Amir is selling regular domestic and commercial cylinders in the name of Metro Gas Agency. If the gas price is Rs. 2100, he is selling it for Rs, 6,000 in a black market. He is dumping it in the panjagutta graveyard and doing illegal black business. He is doing this business by taking advantage of the difficulties caused by commercial business. There is no shortage of gas or fuel anywhere in the country. People should not panic. If you panic, there will be dcorona measures. If you create false rumors, there will be actions. If you sell gas and petroleum products in black market, inform the police.
