EC serves notice to KCR for jibe on Hindus

Hyderabad, April 10 (Maxim News): Election Commission has issued a notice to TRS Supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for his alleged comments against Hindus. Vishwa Hindu Parishat State President Rama Raju has filed a complaint to the EC that the chief minister has made derogatory remarks against the Hindus during election campaign in Karimnagar Public meeting on March 17.

Rama Raju informed to the EC in his complaint that the TRS boss has insulted and hurt the sentiments of the Hindus by false comments. With his remarks against a particular religion, KCR has violated poll code, he said. On this the EC has served notice to the chief minister on Tuesday and asked him to reply the next day of the Lok Sabha Polls in Telangana on April 12 by 5 pm.(Maxim News)
