Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 7 (Maxim News): Recently, India Block MPs have been protesting with their demands. They are trying to go to the Election Commission headquarters and meet the (ECI) Election Commission officials. On Tuesday, when opposition leaders held a rally from Parliament to the EC office, the police stopped them. This has made the issue even more controversial. In this context, the Central Election Commission officials responded. They said that they are ready to meet any representative of any party. They reminded that leaders of many parties have met them in the past as well.
They were reminded that they met in accordance with the rules and according to a method. The EC announced that they are ready to meet in the same manner now as well. They stated that so far no party has sought permission to meet them. Also, they said that no appointment has been given to any party. However, they said that they will meet any party and will take their concerns into consideration. On the other hand, the Delhi Police registered an FIR against several leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, who raised concerns on Tuesday. (Maxim News)
