ECI Observers Deployed For Jubilee Hills By-Election

Hyderabad, Oct 21: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has deployed three senior officers as Observers to ensure the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency bye-election is conducted smoothly, transparently, and fairly.

The officers will monitor general arrangements, law and order, and election expenditure to reinforce compliance and timely interventions. Therefore, the deployment is aimed at tighter oversight across all key election processes in the constituency.

According to the announcement, the Observers will supervise critical components of the conduct of the bye-election.

They will check adherence to the Model Code of Conduct. They will also watch law and order preparedness on the ground.

In addition, they will scrutinize election expenditure to ensure that spending follows the rules. This layered oversight is intended to help prevent violations and to respond fast where issues arise.

The Observers will be available on notified local contact numbers during the election period for coordination with officials.

They will address election-related issues that may be flagged by authorities or stakeholders.
