Education Will Shape India’s Future: Vikarabad Collector Prateek Jain Felicitates Top Students
Vikarabad/Hyderabad, July 11, 2025 — Emphasizing the transformative power of education, Vikarabad District Collector Prateek Jain on Thursday said that “education is the key to changing the future direction of the country.” He was speaking at a felicitation ceremony held at the Minority Residential College, Shivreddy Peta, honouring students who excelled in state-level academic and leadership achievements.
As the chief guest, Collector Jain congratulated the students for their outstanding performance in academics and for being elected to leadership roles in various college departments. He urged them to dream big, stay disciplined, and strive to reach national heights like becoming IAS or IPS officers.
“The future of our nation lies in the hands of its youth,” he remarked. “With commitment, diligence, and a positive attitude, students can overcome challenges and help lead the country forward.”
Support for Advanced Education
In a promising gesture, the Collector assured full administrative support for launching IIT, law, and medical preparatory classes for deserving students in the district. He also praised a video presentation made by the students, showcasing how mock elections were democratically conducted within the college.
Cash Rewards and Felicitations
Students who secured top ranks in state-level intermediate exams (first and second year) were honored with a cash prize of ₹10,000 each. College leaders elected through internal elections were also recognized by the Collector.
Following the felicitation, Collector Prateek Jain and Assistant Trainee Collector Harsh Chaudhary shared lunch with students at the hostel dining hall. Before lunch, they inspected the quality of food items in the storeroom, including rice, dal, and rava, and reviewed the student meal menu.
Community Participation
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Principal Mahmuda Fatima, Retired DMWO Hanumantha Rao, and local leaders Hafeez, Abdul Basheer, Venkat Reddy, and Fakhruddin, along with teachers, parents, and staff members.
This inspirational event not only celebrated academic excellence but also underlined the government’s commitment to improving educational access and leadership development for minority and rural students.
