Election Commission Launched New Mobile App For Candidate Data In Smart Phone

Delhi/Hyderabad, March 17 (Maxim News): With the release of the Lok Sabha election schedule, there is an atmosphere of tension in the political parties.  People are seriously discussing who is contesting from which constituency. It is against this background that the Election Commission has brought a new mobile app to know the details of the candidates of various parties and independents who are contesting in their constituency.

Chief election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar said that along with the profile of the candidates, the details of various cases and criminal history against him and her can be known through this app.  In fact, he released this app before the Lok Sabha schedule was released.  The app named “Know Your Candidate KYC” is currently available on the Google Play Store.

Rajeev Kumar said that this app has been made available for Android users as well as IOS users.  He said that every voter has the right to know about the candidates contesting in his constituency. He made it clear that knowing the details of the criminal history of the candidates will give the voter clarity on who to vote for and the voters will have the flexibility to choose the right candidate.
