Cyberabad Police Urge IT Firms to Implement Work-From-Home Amid Heavy Rain Alert
Hyderabad, July 22 (Maxim News): With heavy rains lashing parts of Hyderabad, particularly the IT corridors under the Cyberabad Commissionerate, the Cyberabad Police have issued a public advisory asking IT and corporate companies to consider implementing Work-from-Home (WFH) for their employees on Tuesday, July 22.
The Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) issued the alert citing public safety, reduced traffic congestion, and the need to ensure uninterrupted emergency services. The advisory also stressed the importance of safeguarding employee well-being while maintaining business productivity.

“An alert has been issued for heavy rains in the Cyberabad area. Companies may consider following the Work-from-Home mode on Tuesday, July 22. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter,” the police said in a statement.
The advisory comes amid reports of severe waterlogging, traffic bottlenecks, and overflowing drains across several parts of the city, especially in Madhapur, Gachibowli, Kondapur, and Financial District.
In response, the police have ramped up patrolling in low-lying and flood-prone areas to deal with potential emergencies. Commuters have been advised to avoid non-essential travel and stay updated through official channels for weather-related updates.
The move is being appreciated by many companies, who say early warnings help them ensure employee safety and avoid productivity losses.
