How the Gang Operated

During questioning, Sathish, an auto-rickshaw driver, admitted that he and his friend Soma Praveen formed a gang of 21 people to make quick money. They bought ganja from Bhadrachalam for ₹75,000 and transported it in a car.

The gang stored the ganja at Praveen’s warehouse, where they packed it into small sachets for sale. Some of the accused were already addicted to ganja and later became smugglers. They mainly targeted youngsters in the town.

Police are now working to catch the remaining suspects. (Maxim News)
