Wild Boar Hunters Electrocuted In Nizamabad

Nizamabad/Hyderabad, Feb 20 (Maxim News): Three people were electrocuted on Thursday in the outskirts of Pegadapalli village of Bodhan mandal in Nizamabad district.

According to police reports, the victims were believed to have accidentally come into contact with live electric wires while hunting wild boars. 

The deceased have been identified as Orsu Gangaram, Balamani, and Kishan, all from the same family in Sitapur village of Renjal mandal.  The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and an investigation is underway. Further details are awaited.

Using live wires as traps for hunting wild animals, particularly boars, is reportedly common in some rural areas of Nizamabad district. This dangerous practice posed risks not only to wildlife but also to farmers and farm workers working in the open fields.  (Maxim News)
