Employees With 2 Years in Services Can Get Promotions: Govt
Hyderabad, Aug.31 (Maxim News): Government of Telangana today issued orders that the employees with two years in its services can get promotions to the next level. Earlier, the eligibility for promotions was three years and it was reduced to two years on the request made by the secretariat employees and other employees in the state.
With this the state employees with two years experience in any services can get promotions. The government issued orders 259 in this regard.
After receiving repeated appeals for the reduction of age to two years from the employees, the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao agreed to it.
KCR directed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to take necessary action in this regard. The Chief Minister instructed the officials concerned to ensure that the employees of any grade, category or class can get to the next level of promotions as per the decision by the government. The government issued a notification in this regard and said that it is printed in a special gazette of the government.
Employees’ association president and general secretary Mamatha, Rajender, Satyanarayana and Prathap extended thanks to the government. The Chief Minister reportedly agreed to an appeal made by the employees that the promotions should be offered for two years experience and without any time limit. To this effect the government took a decision and instructed the officials concerned.
Group I officers extended thanks to the government include Telangana Employees Association president Padmachary, PRTU I association president and general secretary Sripal Reddy, Kamalakar Rao, Chandrasekhar Goud and Hanmanthu Naik. (Maxim News)
