Engg Colleges Agree To Hike Fee Temporarily
Hyderabad, June 29 (Maxim News): The suspense over the hike in fee for engineering courses has finally come to an end on Saturday with the engineering colleges have agreed to the proposal made by Telangana State Admissions and Fee Regulatory Committee (TSAFRC) to increase the fee temporarily.
The association of the engineering colleges had agreed to the proposal of the committee to increase the fee by 15 to 20 percent. The committee also proposed to increase the fee by the colleges, which are currently charging Rs.50,000 by 15 percent. It also told the association that it would finalize the final fee structure in a month’s time.
The committee has urged the association to extend their support for holding engineering admission counseling prompting the engineering colleges to agree for the temporary rise. The decision also paved way for the commencement of web option procedure by the engineering seat aspirants from July 1, 2019.(Maxim News)
