EV Charging Stations In Circle And Division Offices

Hyderabad, Dec 26 (Maxim News): South Telangana Power Distribution Company, in collaboration with TG Redco, is preparing plans to increase the number of EV charging stations in line with the growing demand for electric vehicles in greater Hyderabad . TGSPDCL will make EV charging stations available in the premises of circle, division and sub-division offices in 10 circles within the Metro, Ranga Reddy and Medchal zones within the Outer Ring Road. Top officials are planning to set up 2-3 EV charging stations in each office, depending on the availability of space.

DISCOM is exploring the possibility of setting up EV charging stations in substations and power office premises near major roads in Banjara Hills , Cybercity, Habsiguda , Hyderabad Central, South, Medchal, Rajendranagar, Sangareddy, Sarurnagar and Secunderabad circles to increase commercial revenue. Plans are being made to set up over 300 EV charging stations in ten circles. (Maxim News)
