Everester Bharat Thammineni Felicitated By PC
Hyderabad, June 3 (Maxim News): City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, today felicitated Bharat Thammineni, a young adventure enthusiast from Hyderabad, who had recently submitted Mt Lhotse, the fourth highest peak in the world. With this, he became the first person from South India to scale this difficult peak.
Earlier, Bharat Thammineni twice submitted Mount Everest. He was invited to interact with Sub- Inspectors of Police of Central, North and West Zones, who were invited for distribution of appreciation certificates for exhibiting best performance in their respective sphere of work like CCTNS, Petty Cases, Nenu Saitham CCTV cameras, Investigation Support Centre among others.
Bharath Thammineni (founder of Boots & Crampons Pvt Ltd), Mountaineer and Everester scaled Mt Everest (29,029ft) on May 13, 2017 in Tibet. Summitted the 8th highest and the deadliest Mountain in the World Mt Manaslu (26,759ft) on September 29, 2018 in Nepal, scaled highest peak of South America MtAconcagua (22,841ft) in Argentina on January 3, 2019, scaled Europe’s highest Peak Elbrus (18,510ft) in Russia in June 2018, scaled African Continent’s highest peak Mt Kilimanjaro (19,346ft) in 2015, 2017 and 2018. Bharath also trained Master Samanyu (seven yrs) to scale Mt Kilimanjaro. Samanyu became youngest in the world to achieve this feat. Boots & Crampons trained 1200 kids in life skills training through adventure sports under the leadership of Bharath Thammineni. Bharath wants to scale all the 14 death zone peaks in the World.
Bharat made a detailed presentation to all the Sub Inspectors on the hardships faced by him in mountaineering career. He said he was making a living a den earning enough to cover expenses for his passion of submitting the highest peaks in each of the seven continents of the world. Bharat motivated the police officers with his presentation and exhibited some pictures and videos on mountaineering undertaken by Bharat.
The police officers present were highly motivated and offered a feedback that this session has ignited a passion in them to seek challenging tasks and to make them prepare for challenges in their professional career in the future. Bharat said it was in fact first time that he was recognized and honored. Bharat has offered to train the police officers in adventure sports. (Maxim News)
