Hyderabad: The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) is organizing a major job fair for ex-servicemen on November 28, 2025, at Air Force Station Hakimpet in Secunderabad, Telangana. This initiative aims to support the reintegration of ex-servicemen into the civilian workforce, highlighting their skills and leadership qualities. The event will begin at 7:00 A.M. and continue throughout the day at the Station Sports Ground.

Platform for Ex-Servicemen to Showcase Talents and Find Jobs

This job fair provides a platform for ex-servicemen from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force to connect with top employers from various sectors such as security, IT, healthcare, logistics, and engineering. The event emphasizes the recognition of skills gained during military service, including discipline, technical expertise, and leadership. Employers will have free access to resumes of trained professionals, enabling them to plan interviews and select suitable candidates.

Expanding Opportunities Across India

The Telangana event is part of a nationwide initiative. The Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare is hosting 18 job fairs in total during the financial year 2025-26. So far, eight fairs have been conducted in cities like Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Kolkata. This effort underscores the government’s commitment to supporting ex-servicemen’s transition to civilian employment.
