Expand Greenery In Villages: Jagadish Reddy

Hyderabad, Aug.13 (Maxim News): Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy today started Haritha Haram program in Suryapet district. He participated in the plantation drive and involved officials and students in large numbers. He also gave targets to the officials to turn several villages in his home segment green by planting saplings and protect them.

Participating in the green drive in the district and planted saplings, Jagadish Reddy directed the officials to put continuous efforts to protect the saplings planted and ensure better environment to future generations. “We will get more rains and better environment by increasing greenery”, he said, adding they should also focus on clean drive by making their premises clean and green. The government was keen on increasing greenery in all the districts and achieve targets, he said.

Jadadish Reddy said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has given a call to plant 40,000 saplings in every village. “As per his call, we have to turn the villages into green by involving local leaders, officials, youth and students in a big way”, he added. (Maxim News)
