Expanding Southwest Monsoon: Rains In Telangana For 2 More Days

Hyderabad, may 23 (Maxim News): The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the low pressure in the West Central and South Bay of Bengal will continue and it is likely to turn into a cyclone in the Central bay of Bengal by Saturday.

On the 25th of this month, there is a possibility of turning into a cyclone in the East-Central bay of Bengal. By 26th, the cyclone will reach the coast of West Bengal. Southwest Monsoon is expanding to more parts of the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon has spread over the south Bay of Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

According to the Meteorological Center of Hyderabad, light to moderate rains are likely to occur in Telangana for the next two days. A yellow alert has been issued to this effect. From thursday to Friday morning in Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Bhupalpally, Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, siddipet, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, nagar Kurnool, Wanaparthy, narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts here and there it explained that there are chances of rain.

From Friday to Saturday morning, there are indications of scattered rains in Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Rangaz Reddy, Hyderabad, medchal Malkajgiri, Mahbubnagar, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Nagar Kurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts. Along with thunder and lightning, gusty winds with a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are likely.  (Maxim News)
