Facial Recognition Attendance Has Come Into Effect In Secretariat

Hyderabad, Dec 12 (Maxim News): Facial Recognition Attendance has come into effect in the Telangana Secretariat from Thursday. Ministers expressed anger over some employees not attending their duties even after 12 noon. With this, the government has focused on the punctuality of employees.

Chief Secretary Shanthi Kumari has already issued orders regarding face recognition. From now on, daily attendance will be recorded on the facial recognition system. This applies to officers and staff of all departments from Thursday.

After the Telangana government came to power, the government paid special attention to the attendance of employees. In particular, the State Secretariat is like the heart of the administrative department. However, there are criticisms that some employees do not come on time, come at will, some do not come even till noon and even if they do come, they leave by 5 p.m.

In this context, the Revanth Reddy government, which came to power, conducted surprise inspections of some ministers in their departments. It was found that employees did not come on time. Explanations were taken from the employees who did not come. In this context, the government took a key decision and implemented face recognition attendance. Keeping in mind the security of the employees’ punctuality and the secretariat, the government decided to implement face recognition.  (Maxim News)
