Fake Manpower Consultant Ageny Busted
One Person Arrested – Recovered (3)Indian Passports, Application Forms And Visiting Cards From His Possession
Hyderabad, Jan 13 (Maxim News): On credible information the sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, Central Zone Team raided on fake manpower recruiting agency in the limits of Abid Road Police Station by name “Aerovision Tours & Travels”, at Saphire Complex, Ground Floor, Opp: Khan Lateef Khan Building, Chapel Road, Hyderabad.
The Police arrested one recruiting agent by name Mohammed Abdul Dilshad, who is cheating the un-employed youth and carrying the business along with his brother Mohammed Irshad (Absconding) of recruitment for deployment of Indian workers with foreign employers without any permission from Protector General of Emigration, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India and seized 1) (3) Indian Passports, 2) Application/Bio-date forms-25, 3) CPU- 2,4)Visiting Cards-50 5) Agreement letters-4 and 6) Net cash of Rs. 1,15,000/- (one Lakh and Fifteen Thousand Rupees only)and other incriminating material from his possession.
The accused Mohammed Abdul Dilshad and his brother Mohammed Irshad (Proprietor) is running Fake Manpower Consultant Agency named as “Aerovision Tours & Travels”, at Ground Floor, Opp: Khan Lateef Khan Building, Chapel Road, Hyderabad since ten years without any permission from Protector General of Emigration, Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India, New Delhi and cheating the unemployed youth by posing they are Licensed/Authorized agent to carry on the business of recruitment for deployment of Indian Workers with Foreign Employers/Companies and collecting huge amount Rs.50,000/- to 1,00,000/- from each aspirant.
Both the accused persons are collecting huge amounts from the innocent people on the guise of proving jobs at Dubai, Saudi Arabia etclike Supervisor, Plumber, Mechanic, Cook, Helper, Labour etc for huge salary starting from Rs.50,000/- to Rs.1,00,000/- and also the innocent aspirants approaching them at his office. They used to conduct interviews to the candidates, who are approaching them and collects their Passports and money from the aspirants as advance to create an impression to the aspirants that they are processing their applications. After the lapse of some days, they are dragging the period and failed to give VISA to the candidates. On the repeated requests, theywere postponing the issue and retaining the Passport and money of the candidates. Intentionally both the accused persons have cheated number of innocent persons on the guise of providing job at Dubai. So far, they have cheated about 25 to 30 innocent people on the guise of providing Job at Dubai, the police said.
LAW SAYS
As per the Emigration Act 1983, the Central Govt. under the Ministry of Labour is the competent authorityfor the registration/renewal/cancellation of recruiting agents. As per Sec. 10 of the act, no person to function as recruiting agent without valid certificate.
The only certified recruiting agent can carry on business of recruitment for deployment of Indian workers with Foreign Employers/Companies. The holder of the certificate shall conduct business only in the place indicated in the application. The holder of the Certificate shall not employ any sub-agent for the purpose of conducting or carrying on his business.
The above accused areviolating the above Sections of law and cheating the un-employed youth by collecting huge amounts in the guise of carrying on the recruitment business as a licensed/certified recruiting agent.
PUBLIC APPEAL
As such an appeal to the un-employed youth and general public to be more cautious about these advertisements and fake recruiting agents and requested to check their genuineness before approaching them for seeking employment in abroad. Also requested to approach the recruiting agents who are authorized by POE (Protector of Emigrants)
The arrested accused along with seized material was handed over to SHO, Abid Road PS for taking necessary action.
