Female Constable Commits Suicide Due To Harassment By Husband In Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Aug 2 (Maxim News): A tragic incident has taken place in the Rachakonda Commissionerate limits of Rangareddy, Hyderabad. The suicide of Manisha (28), a constable posted at Meerpet Police Station, has created a stir. Constable Manisha, who attempted suicide by consuming pesticide a week ago, died on Saturday (August 2) while undergoing treatment.
For the past five years, Constable Manisha, an officer from the 2020 batch, has been employed at the Meerpet police station. A week ago, during a family argument at her Nandi Hills home, she ingested pesticide and became unconscious. She was receiving care at Nampally’s Care Hospital.
Doctors reported that after receiving treatment for a week, Manisha’s health deteriorated and she passed away. Her family protested at the hospital, calling for justice in Manisha’s death. Family members believe she may have killed herself as a result of her husband’s mistreatment. Police in Meerpet have filed a report and are looking into it. (Maxim News)
