Fire Broke Out A Laddu Counter In Tirumala: Devotees Run Away

Tirumala/Hyderabad, Jan 13 (Maxim News): Another accident occurred in the presence of Lord Venkateswara Swamy. After the darshan of the Lord, it is customary to take everyone’s favorite Laddu prasadam. A fire broke out in the Laddu counter next to the Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy temple. A fire accident occurred. Due to this incident that took place on the morning of January 13, 2025, the devotees panicked. They ran away.

According to the information, the fire broke out at counter number 47 of Tirumala Srivari Devasthanam. Officials say that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the computer system UPS on the counter. The UPS exploded due to the shock circuit and caught fire. Devotees ran away in panic. Upon learning about the matter, the staff immediately reached the spot and brought the fire under control.

It is natural that there is a lot of crowd at the counters where laddu prasadam is distributed in Tirumala. However, the fire that broke out while the laddus were being distributed has caused concern.

It is known that a stampede occurred recently during the distribution of Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan tokens. Six people died in this incident. On the morning of January 13th, a fire broke out at the laddu counter. In view of past experiences, the authorities are taking precautions to prevent any untoward incidents.
