The flight, GF-274, was travelling from Bahrain to Hyderabad when the crew was alerted. Authorities later confirmed that the threat was a hoax. Recently, frequent bomb threats have been making waves for flights arriving and departing from Shamshabad. In this case, officials received the threatening email while the aircraft was still in the air. Therefore, the pilot immediately coordinated with air traffic control and made an emergency landing on the runway. The crew acted swiftly to ensure passenger safety.
Meanwhile, authorities moved the aircraft to an isolation bay away from the runway. Airport security forces and the bomb squad quickly entered the field. They conducted a thorough inspection of the entire plane. They also checked the passengers’ luggage carefully. Officials later confirmed that there were no explosives on board. As a result, passengers and crew breathed a sigh of relief.

However, the bomb threat email turned out to be a hoax. Even so, the scare led to minor disruption of other flight services at Shamshabad Airport. The airline management expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers. Later, the police registered a case. They are now trying to trace the sender of the bomb threat email.
Authorities continue to remain alert as similar threats have surfaced in recent times. Meanwhile, investigations are underway to identify those responsible and prevent such incidents in the future.
