Dawn Pictures, co-producing the film alongside Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the release:

“Time to hit the drums, the celebration begins on 27th July. #IdlyKadai – First single loading. A @gvprakash Musical. Worldwide in Cinemas from October 1.”

Dhanush, who is also directing the film, echoed the excitement on his official X handle, writing:

“Idly Kadai first single update” along with a poster that reads: “The celebration begins on July 27.”

The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and the first single is already generating buzz for its potential to be a chartbuster.
