Hyderabad, June 8: The much-awaited Fish Prasadam distribution for asthma patients will begin in Hyderabad today. The annual event, held on the occasion of Mrigashira Karthi, will take place at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds, where thousands of people from across India are expected to participate.
The distribution will commence at 9 p.m. on Sunday and continue uninterrupted until Monday night. Authorities have completed all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the event, which has been a long-standing tradition for several decades.
Extensive Arrangements for Fish Prasadam Distribution
Officials have put in place comprehensive facilities to accommodate the large influx of visitors arriving from different states. Special attention has been given to crowd management, medical assistance, drinking water facilities, and security arrangements.
To facilitate transportation, the authorities have arranged special buses to Nampally from various parts of the city. Additional measures have also been taken to ensure that people receiving the Fish Prasadam do not face any inconvenience during the event.
Thousands of visitors have already reached Hyderabad ahead of the distribution. The Fish Prasadam, traditionally administered on Mrigashira Karthi, is believed by many to provide relief from asthma and respiratory ailments.
As in previous years, organizers expect a massive turnout, and police have strengthened security and traffic management around the venue. Participants have been advised to follow official guidelines and cooperate with authorities to ensure the event proceeds smoothly.
